200th post!

I know it’s not a lot for most but you only have a 200th post once….

Been kind of avoiding internet lately due to insanely busy summer school, but now avoiding math so it’s all good!

Been spending a lot of time in 2nd cup which is by far the best place to study
except you have to buy something
but unlike the library which is super quiet and makes your mind wander, or my apartment which is super distracting and makes me wander,  2nd cup is just right.
plus I’ve been getting to listen to a bunch of cute songs that I haven’t heard in ages!
Also usually go with Braden, but even if I go alone there are faces around that I’m starting to recognize

John was down this weekend. and Alex and Sarah. and 7 other of his friends. And Rob and his dad. And Ari and some of his friend. And Doris and her friends. AND Sarah and Chloe. What is this madness?! further more, where are Windsorites!!??

I wined and watched New York I Love You with Braden and his friend Thursday, then I joined John, Sarah and Alex at Tokyo. I had to go to the debit machine to pay my cover, and thought I had to use the bar’s machine for some reason. While waiting, some guy asked if he could buy me a drink, I said no I don’t think my boyfriend would like that. and he said I still want to buy you a drink. and I still said no.
So I pay cover, find my boyfriend and his friends, and we start dancing then this stupid guy appears again and says smiling ‘lame boyfriend’. what the hell?! am I meant to leap into your arms because I was so blind but you have opened my eyes and now I want you and only you!? ugh. I yelled back at him ‘rude stranger’ and he said what but then I just moved along and didn’t see him again

I don’t understand people sometimes

Poor John’s friends tho who came out the second night. They’re all a year younger and did not have the lady hunting time in Montreal they were expecting. Some of them do look a tad prepubescent, and even though they’re sweet and charming, a 20something year old probably isn’t at a club for quality conversation.

Friday I saw inception and did math. nothing crazy there. except inception. aiiieeee so good!

Saturday Doris came to town (thought it was meant to be Sunday) and I went out with her. Really could’ve killed her at one point, but just a (well several…) miscommunication. she didn’t get back to me all day, and when we finally touched base and agreed she’d call me when she left, she didn’t, and when I showed up alone expecting to find them, I couldn’t and she wasn’t answering her phone and I waited alone for 20odd minutes. turns out we were outside for some of the same time, she just didn’t see me. and her phone wasn’t working. hmmm. but also her friend was crying and she was not really sober so forgiveable I guess. I’m glad I met her friends, but it was an emotional night for a couple girls….

saw John intermittently but never got to really hang out with him that much. He’d sleep over, and so did Alex one night.

and yup that’s my life lately minus several side notes, but my own fault.

I think once you have a blog you start seeing things as ‘I could blog this’
The only problem is I tend not to….

my math friend

is one heckuva interesting guy

I’ve told him so, and I think he was flattered

when his grandfather (who he’s really close with and they go on vacation just the two of them) dies, he becomes a Sir

we saw Inception together (OMG SO GOOD!)

and on August 7th we’re going to see Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth Tour!!

so what that it’s 2 days before our exam

so I was studying at the 24 hour second cup and was walking home after a huge rainstorm

I come to my house and open my door…into a homeless man

he starts kind of mumbling apologizing?

and I say
‘Hi I know it was raining but you probably shouldn’t sleep here’
and step over him and walk up the stairs to my place

he was gone in the morning

I’m addicted

I love the man voice that erupts from his little boy face

why yes, this is another masterpiece of culinary proportions
thank you for noticing

chicken marinated in BBQ+honey garlic sauce, oriental veggies cooked in hoisin,
and rice cooked in chicken stock with American saffron

unfortunately the rice turned porridgey
what did I do?
I’ve cooked rice before!
oh well, still tasty
